In these weeks we studied the ancient Philistines and how God used them to glorify Himself and further His plans for Israel. We met King Saul, his son Jonathan, and young David and his family. We continued by studying the life of King David and looked at the amazing Phoenician trading network, culture, and interactions with Israel.
We did a fantastic Venn Diagram comparing David to Saul. In addition to the recommended Tapestry of Grace reading lists, I highly recommend the book, "Who's Who in the Bible for Kids".
